Portfolio

Separation of roles

Not a fund

These positions are taken with our own money through SPVs or co-investment vehicles. We do not manage outside capital and we are not raising any.

Two hats, separate terms

Engagement equity is compensation for the work and is set out in the engagement agreement. An investment is our own money at the round’s price, on the same terms as everyone else in it. Where both apply to one company, each is documented on its own.

Conflicts disclosed

If a position overlaps a prospective client's market, we say so before the first conversation goes any further.

If the founder is still doing the selling, we should talk.

We start every engagement the same way — a conversation, not a pitch. Tell us where it is breaking and we will tell you what we see.
